1. Bully Route Home by DL Havlin

In the summer of 1949 in Stuartville, Florida, young Pooch Robinson inadvertently provoked the anger of the school bully making him a victim of incessant beating. In one of his attempts to avoid his painful ordeal, he met a boy from the black community, Carver Williams. His friendship with the boy led to unforeseen events that tore the community apart.
